Shared Living Arrangements

$700 - Flat rate.

Our shared living arrangements are designed to take the pressure off day-to-day survival so you can focus on feeling stable, healthy, and at home in Akron, OH.

With one predictable rate, your room, all utilities, WiFi, and phone access are included, so there are no hidden bills to juggle on a fixed SSI or SSDI income.

You share a clean, comfortable home with other adults, which means real community instead of isolation - someone to talk with in the kitchen, a safe face in the living room, and support nearby if you need it. On-site laundry, transportation support, and access to home health aid where appropriate turn housing into true support.

We built this shared housing model from lived experience with homelessness, so every detail is meant to make life calmer and more manageable.

All-Inclusive, Stress-Free Living

Rent, utilities, WiFi, phone, and on-site laundry are included, which protects tight SSI or SSDI budgets and removes the daily worry of multiple separate bills.

Health Aid Support

Residents can receive respectful help with daily needs from CPR and First Aid certified staff, and our Medicaid enrollment supports safe, compliant in-home care.

Transportation Access

Rides for appointments, groceries, and key errands mean residents are not stuck at home, which supports better health, independence, and less stress for families.

Warm, Family-Style Environment

Shared spaces, kind house culture, and respectful RuyalCare help residents feel safe, known, and included, which is especially meaningful after homelessness or unstable housing.

Personalized Resident Support

Every resident brings a unique history, health profile, and comfort level.

We listen carefully, then build simple, realistic support plans that protect independence while adding help where it truly matters.

This may include reminders for medications, light assistance with bathing or dressing, meal preparation check-ins, or gentle safety monitoring.

Our CPR and First Aid certifications, combined with Medicaid enrollment, give families and caseworkers confidence that care is both caring and compliant. As needs change, we adjust together, so residents can stay in a familiar home environment longer.
